A retired 20 year Veteran of the Air Force (And 20 years with the Veterans Administration) with his lovely wife who has been in business for herself for most of her adult life. We operate this business together as a “retirement type” job utilizing our properties to work and enjoy our passion !

Early on

Both of us grew up in a country setting where we grew food for our families. Mine (Sam) being from a huge family with eight kids, we processed food by canning and freezing to stock up for the winter. In this process, we learned how to prepare the tastiest meals with simple ingredients.

Current

Enjoying a homesteading type of lifestyle, we plant a nice garden to produce fresh food to have and to pressure can for all year long. I enjoy canning, jamming and preserving food for the future. It is hard work but if you put your home prepared food against what is available to buy, you win out every time!!!
